As a miniaturist and an 80s kid myself, I thoroughly enjoyed this video on building a detailed scale model of a long-gone Blockbuster store, with some great backstory and past-employee interviews.
It looks like GoatConf (opens in a new tab) (Bosnia and Herzegovina, 3–5 June, 2027, FREE!), organized by seasoned organizer Muhamed Isabegović, is going to be a good one. And I'm speaking! It's been a while, and I'm looking forward to getting back into the saddle.
What does one do when on a plane, say, flying across the Atlantic to attend Rails World in Austin, TX? Watch whatever's on the small screen (at least until I'm bored). Results for my recent flights there and back:
What can I say... Good to watch on a plane and then forget about it :)

Full disclosure: I've never watched The Sopranos (yes, I know...) but I had higher hopes for this one. I thought it would offer some insight into why Tony turns into a mobster, but it didn't, IMO.

Pretty layered HBO drama. I continued watching it at home!

Fun if you have 20 minutes to spare and no energy for doing anything better.
