The Rexel Optimum AutoFeed+ 225X is a BEAST
Who else gets excited over a shredder? Not just any shredder; as advertised, the 225X will munch through a stack of 200+ pages automatically, quietly, and with low maintenance. So far, I've fed it over 2500 sheets.
The only downside, and it's not specific to this model because my much smaller Rexel had the same issue: it can't autofeed thicker paper (as in: double that of a regular sheet). The mechanism works using two rollers moving in opposite direction, thus "folding" the paper into the shredder that sits between them, and apparently, anything slightly thicker won't fold. My need is for thousands of sheets of plain A4, so not a huge issue for me.
Also, I'm glad we now do digital bookkeeping, instead of printing everything out like I still did in the early 2010s.

Good
- Large bin (44 liters)
- Quiet!
Not so good
- Can't autofeed thicker paper
- At this price, P5 (smaller shreds) would have been nice
